The best fishermen from Puerto Vallarta and the region meet at the Playa Los Muertos 2024 Fishing Tournament.
In its 17th edition, the traditional sport fishing competition will be held on November 8 and 9, based at the iconic Los Muertos beach pier, which also serves as the starting point for the participating boats.
In previous editions, the tournament has distributed a purse of more than $100 thousand pesos among the top 3 places in the Dorado fishing category. It is, furthermore, a competition with a cause; Generally, part of the day's catch is donated to non-profit civil associations in Puerto Vallarta.
The 2024 Playa Los Muertos Fishing Tournament represents an economic and tourism boost that seeks to position sport fishing as one of the most important activities in Puerto Vallarta and, specifically, Los Muertos Beach.
Registration usually opens one day before the competition, based at the Deportes Gutiérrez Rizo store.
